Hello, Brilliant Human!
I hope you feel, at least occasionally, how beautiful, loved, and held by the brilliant Love that is you. I’d love for you to feel it constantly, but I also know how our egos roll.
With each heart, I see different things. They are all so beautiful that if I let myself continuously see you, I would walk around like the biggest sobbing puddle you’ve ever met. I am acutely aware that I am only seeing the most microscopic bits of your brilliance, and I could write endless love notes about you upon the sliver I see. My brain can feel like it is melting by the beauty of you… total majestic overload.
The wonderful thing is that our hearts are equally brilliant and beautiful. You don’t look at a rainbow or an ocean and say, “This piece is prettier than all the rest.” The whole is equally beautiful… as is the whole of humanity. In our equal beauty, each of us has this uniqueness that novels, songs, symphonies, and masterpieces could be created in honor of your brilliance, originality, and magic.
Your brilliance is not something that only I can see. It is so clear. It is that feeling when in your presence anytime and is always there… whether you are ‘walking on sunshine’ or in the depths of the hardest storm of your life. Knowing our light always shines can be a comfort for me and can sometimes piss me off because I don’t always feel it. It can be frustrating, exhausting, and painful when it feels like there is a separation from this shining Love.
I am reminded that our brilliance cannot be taken away or changed. If you think, do, or say something opposite from your heart, it doesn’t diminish or take away your light in any way. In your presence, I meet the holy one - your spirit - and the divine human who experiences everything, including sorrow, heartache, and anguish.
You are always seen, cherished, adored, and honored in your wholeness.
In the hardest of times for me, it can sometimes feel like this brilliant and miraculous part of ourselves is gone, died, or ‘ran an errand.’ In transformation portals, we can feel like, “Where did it go?” It can be so hard. When the light feels underground or veiled, I think maybe the light is recharging. At some point, it will be like when the power comes back on… you can flick a light switch, and there is an instant connection. In those moments, I hope you can feel the warmth of the sun of your heart as it holds, cocoons, and surrounds you. I hope you get a glimpse of what we feel when we are anywhere around you… whether be your words, art, cooking, voice, or physical presence.
