Hello, hallowed human heart!
Record-breaking snow fell in Louisiana, and unexpected beauty swirled. I received the blessings and was mesmerized by the miracles I saw raining down from the Heavens onto my home, nature, and all in my city. I woke up at 4 a.m., opened my blinds, and watched the gentle clumps falling as I lay tucked in my warm bed. I had never gotten to do this before.
Each snowflake sparkled and radiated pure Love energy. There were colors within the white, and their energetic charge felt profound. During a time when miracles were greatly being asked, I watched the endless blessings of the divine rain down in abundance, covering everything. I needed and gratefully received this unexpected beauty of blessings.
I was so happy that most people could see and feel the beauty falling. Not everyone’s regular eyes can yet see what some of us can. Not everyone has the space or necessarily wants to see with their witch’s eye. When something like ‘unheard of’ snow falls in such a soft, loving way, it feels like most people can See. They see the miracle for themselves, and no words are required. This is something I appreciate more and more these days.
The joy of children was flowing in abundance on the ‘snow day.’ I heard children squealing in delight as they played in the snow. The neighborhood was an explosion of rainbows, filled with joy from the kids and the inner children of the adults. Laughter, community, and family (including human family, not necessarily biological) were loudly singing in the silence of the snow.
Unexpected beauty feels like a balm of peace, love, and comfort amid pain, change, sorrow, and grand transformation. How can we see unexpected beauty in our everyday life? Can we allow our inner child to be amazed by the wildflower it sees growing in a crack? Can we dance up the grocery store aisle when they are playing ‘our song’ on the speaker, or dance to the music playing in our heads? Can we make space for our wise inner child teacher to speak and play with us?
I honor your inner child, silly joy, unexpected beauty greeting you, miracles flowing upon you, and blessing you always are.
